Introduction
Educators aim, among other things, at instilling in students the skills of critical thinking and the disposition to think critically whenever the situation demands it. To think critically, one must master certain skills related to the evaluation of arguments and fallacy detection, possess a reasonable web of knowledge relevant to the subject at hand (and/or the ability to identify trustworthy sources on the matter), and cultivate intellectual virtues that allow the expression of critical thinking.
